About Me:
began my teaching career aged eighteen working in an international school in Malaysia in 2000. After studying Biology at Oxford University, I completed a PGCE at the Institute of Education, University of London.
Whilst at university I began teaching at Oxford Science Studies, a highly respected tutorial college that provides tuition to students studying Science at GCSE and A Level.
After gaining qualified teacher status I taught Science in an inner London comprehensive and in 2007 I was appointed as an Edexcel A Level Examiner.
In October 2006 I began a 4 year BBSRC funded studentship at the University of York, under the supervision of Professor Peter Young. I am also passionate about bringing contemporary science into schools and in conjunction with the National Science Learning Centre ran a session on 'Bioinformatics in the classroom'.
